The Extron VersaTools® line consists of compact, affordable A/V products small enough to fit in your toolbox! Designed for high
performance A/V systems, VersaTools products are housed in unique and durable, quarter rack width enclosures (some also come in one-eighth and
one-half rack enclosures). Together with a number of easy-to-use features and flexible mounting options, VersaTools products are ideal solutions
for everyday A/V applications and can be easily integrated into new and existing boardrooms, classrooms, University lecture halls, training
facilities, home theaters, command and control centers, and rental and staging environments.
VersaTools are stand-alone, projector-, rack- or under-desk mountable products that come with an external power supply. The line includes
compact, high-performance distribution amplifiers and switchers for RGB computer-video, S-video, composite video, S-video, SDI, and/or audio. To
select the right VersaTools product for a specific environment, the following should be considered:
- What is the source signal (e.g., computer, composite video, S-video, stereo audio)?
- What is the connector type (e.g., BNC, 4-pin Mini DIN, 15-pin HD, 3.5 mm)?
- How many inputs are needed?
- Is this for a new or existing system?
